Half the calories, double the fun.

Let's be real. I watched the Royal Wedding to its entirety for the DRESS. #meghanandharry but more like #Meghan. So when Kensington revealed that the Royal Wedding Cake was made by Clare Ptak of Violet Cakes in London, I was like hold up. Game changer. Better than the dress. Ptak is a genius and I knew the cake was going to be heavenly.

Ptak used an elderflower liqueur from the Queen's Sandringham Estate—and newsflash—my mom also has elderflowers in her garden and she also makes elderflower liqueur. So I had to bake the Royal Wedding Cake with my talented mama's liqueur, and with a few healthy modifications that made it oh so lighter.

I invite you to try this fluffy lemony goodness and yes, go for that second and maybe the third slice. Enjoy!
